NCup
 2007 Nashoba Cup
June 16 and 17, 2007

The Nashoba Cup (NCup) is a season-ending tournament sponsored by Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League for those teams that have chosen to play in competitive and not strictly recreational flights. Each NCup flight from U12 to U16 is represented by the top four teams by order of finish during the regular spring season. Teams play in matches hosted at sites of NVYSL member clubs.
This year's Nashoba Cup 2007 champions won their final matches played at the Wilde Road fields in Shirley on June 17.

BU12 - Northboro B
GU12 - Ayer-Shirley A
GU16 - Fitchburg A
BU14 - Ayer-Shirley A
GU14 - Hudson A
BU16 - Boylston A
GU16 - Fitchburg A

The finals were all closely contested and exciting, with two results decided in overtime. Congratulations to the champions and to ALL the teams that competed this year. Everyone who took part owes a debt of gratitude to Rosemary Laverdiere, Nashoba Cup Commissioner, who worked extra hard this year to smooth out some of the issues that surfaced during the planning of the tournament. A BIG THANK YOU to all of the town clubs (Ayer-Shirley, Groton-Dunstable, Littleton, Pepperell, Tyngsboro, Westboro) and their volunteers for providing fields in excellent condition, tents for tournment officials, and food and drink for referees and officials who worked long hours during the tournament.
The clubs hosting Nashoba Cup 2007 are: Tyngsboro, Littleton, Westboro, Pepperell, Groton-Dunstable, and Ayer-Shirley. The Saturday tournament schedule is now posted on the web site. The Ayer-Shirley Wilde Road field is the site for all Sunday finals. Coaches, if your team qualifies for a final on Sunday, DO NOT go to the field where your team played on Saturday! Teams need to check in once a day, a half hour before their first scheduled match using latest rosters provided by the league. Updated 6/12/07, 11am
